“You go to the meet up point and take a shuttle from there to the ocean. Once there you take a motor boat to a bigger boat that you’ll be parasailing from. If you get motion sickness take medication before hand or bring it with you. The water is pretty rough, but once you’re parasailing it’s actually very peaceful! The two men on the boat explained everything and made me feel comfortable. Although I was solo someone on the boat in another group parasailed with me. There has to be a least two people at a time. “Steve is competent and experienced at getting beginner foilers up and riding - he's a little rough around the edges (perhaps frustrated by his assistant's absence and some mechanical challenges with the foil boards) but very competent. The lessons are quick and to the point and he rides around with you to give you verbal instruction then lets you run out the battery on the machine prior to your lesson completion - overall a pretty good deal to learn foiling in tropical waters!”

“This was a great time! Christian was super responsive ahead of the lesson, and very helpful and patient during the lesson. You should know going into this that while it’s a lot of fun, it’s also super hard! I don’t have a ton of experience surfing, so I found that getting up and getting comfortable on the board did not come too easily for me. Was able to sort of figure out how to get up by the end of the lesson, but I was far from comfortable on it. Also would definitely recommend taking his advice of wearing a long sleeve rash guard.
